THE ROLE



The Sous Chef supports the Head Chef with preparation, cooking and plating. This role includes kitchen organisation, hygiene compliance and maintaining consistency during lunch and dinner service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Assist Chef with prep, cooking and plating Maintain food quality, consistency and speed Support BOH organisation and stock rotation Ensure HACCP, hygiene and safety compliance Coordinate with Cleaner/Utility Support Assist with kitchen logs, handovers and ordering

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE



2-3 years kitchen experience Strong prep and hot station skills Understanding of food hygiene standards Ability to handle busy service periods

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT



Successful candidates may be required to complete a Basic DBS check.
