Rangeford Villages develops and operates integrated retirement communities for people aged over 60. We create exciting, innovative and contemporary villages for residents to live life to the full, with a wide range of leisure activities, services, support and care. Homewood Grove

is set in leafy countryside 1.5 miles to the west of Chertsey. Our residents live among fully manicured gardens with an outside terrace off the bar and bistro. There is direct convenient pedestrian access to the neighbouring Homewood Park which offers 23 hectares of nature trails and pathways suitable for wheelchairs.

You will assist the Head Chef, managing preparing and presenting a wide range of fresh produce ensuring that the highest quality is maintained

Responsibilities:



Responsible during service for timing and progress of all dishes. Responsibility for the Kitchen operation at all times. Responsibility for the training, induction and development of the kitchen brigade when required. To ensure that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times To constantly focus on guest care and service. Ensuring that everything that is done well improves and enhances the guest experience. Nothing is too much trouble attitude. To be fully conversant with the menu and to be adaptable with continual changes to ensure that the menu is kept in line with customer demands and Company policies.

Skills and Experience:



Demonstrable kitchen management skills Minimum of 2 years' experience Be passionate about food Possess strong communication skills
Training will be provided

Qualifications:



Appropriate food qualification desirable

Hours and any other restrictions:



This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week and will be on a rota basis 5 days out of 7 and will include weekend work, with occasional evenings.
