Summary

We are seeking a skilled individual for the role of Sous Chef to join our King's Kitchen team at Brewery Tap in Chester. This position plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of food production and kitchen operations, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering quality dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality food production.

Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Plan and execute menu items, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality standards. Drive continuous improvement in kitchen processes and staff performance.

Qualifications

Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment.

Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an advantage. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
