As a Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for seasonal dishes. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising a kitchen team, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. Extensive knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques. Excellent team management skills, fostering a positive working environment. Proficient in food preparation and cooking methods across various cuisines. Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Previous experience within the restaurant industry is essential, with a focus on high-quality service.
