We are seeking an experienced full time Sous Chef to join our team.
Working alongside our Head Chef you will need to be able to run the kitchen in their absence. You need to maintain a good atmosphere and keep your team's sections running smoothly, ensuring the standard of service hits the mark every time and the kitchen delivers fantastic fresh dishes throughout the day. Executing consistent excellence and shared passion for our afternoon tea.
Alongside the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and leading a small team of shared enthusiasts. Joanna's also has a separate Production Kitchen which supplies your fresh cakes, pastries, afternoon tea elements as well as some elements of the main menu.
Joanna's is open 7 days a week, from 9 - 5pm so you have an excellent work life balance with no late night shifts required, unless there is a private hire event.
