About the Role:



We are seeking a talented and passionate

Sous Chef

to join various dynamic kitchen teams within leading restaurants, hotels, or catering establishments. As a Sous Chef, you will be a pivotal figure in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, menu execution, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:



Assist the Head Chef

in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.

Oversee and supervise

junior kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain high standards.

Ensure consistent quality

and presentation of all dishes, adhering to recipes and culinary standards.

Manage kitchen cleanliness

and organization, ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Control food costs

by minimizing waste, monitoring portion sizes, and managing stock rotation.

Coordinate kitchen shifts

and delegate tasks effectively to maintain smooth workflow during service.

Contribute to menu development

and special events, bringing creative ideas and culinary expertise.

Maintain equipment

and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Proven experience as a

Sous Chef

or a strong

Chef de Partie

ready for the next step. Demonstrable culinary creativity and passion for food. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen health and safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Relevant culinary qualifications is preferred Right to work in the UK.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
