We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing diverse menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and junior chefs, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency in presentation and taste across all dishes. Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment. Support training programmes for new team members and ongoing staff development initiatives.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment. Extensive food preparation and cooking skills with a strong understanding of culinary techniques. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential. Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is mandatory. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff effectively. A passion for culinary excellence and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
