We are looking for a reliable and hard working Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. Applicant must be available to work weekend shifts and evenings and be flexible with changing shifts. Applicant must have 2+ years experience in the same job role and be able to work well in a busy environment. Duties include cooking fresh food, controlling service and food orders and maintaining all day to day kitchen duties. Food and hygiene certificates required.
Duties
Preparation of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Collaborate with our head chef on menu ideas and specials and help manage other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the head chef.
Requirements
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
