Duties
Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food production and preparation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented beautifully.
Help maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to comply with health regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
Handle any kitchen emergencies or issues that arise during service efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in culinary presentation.
