Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced sous or senior CDP to join our team at the voyage of buck. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, upholding high standards of food quality and safety, and supporting our team to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. The position is based on william street.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring efficiency and high standards of food quality.
Supervise and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to meet health and safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Assist in training staff on culinary techniques and safety procedures.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that align with brand standards.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting.
Strong food production and culinary skills.
Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills.
Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
