We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef with strong expertise in pizza and pasta preparation to support our Head Chef in delivering consistently high-quality Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. You will play a key role in kitchen operations, team supervision, and maintaining high standards of food safety and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and team supervision.
Prepare and cook a range of Italian-style pizzas and fresh pasta dishes to a high standard.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Ensure all food preparation and storage follows health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and reduce food waste.
Support in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar environment.
Expertise in traditional and modern pizza and pasta techniques.
Strong understanding of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.
Excellent leadership and time management skills.
Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above preferred).
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: 42,000.00-45,000.00 per year
