Key Responsibilities:
Assist the
Head Chef
in daily kitchen operations
Supervise the kitchen team and ensure food is prepared to a consistent high standard
Take charge of service in the Head Chef's absence
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Maintain kitchen hygiene and
HACCP standards
Monitor stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Train and support junior chefs and kitchen staff
Help develop new menu ideas and seasonal specials
Manage food cost control and minimise waste
Requirements:
Previous experience as a
Sous Chef
or
Senior Chef de Partie
Knowledge of
Italian and Mediterranean cuisine
is preferred
Confident in pizza, pasta, and grill sections is a plus
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong understanding of
kitchen health & safety
Excellent communication and time management skills
Positive attitude and hands-on approach
Must be reliable, flexible, and work well under pressure
