Having only been open for a year, we have already won the best pub in Dorset in National Pub and Bar awards; and aren't far away from opening our second site in Tisbury.

Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food production and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and best practices. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and minimise waste through efficient food production practices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Provide support during busy service periods, helping to manage workflow effectively.

Experience



Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary methods, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen staff. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,500.00-35,000.00 per year
