Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production and preparation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation processes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared on time and meet quality expectations.
Help manage kitchen schedules, ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours.
Address any issues that arise within the kitchen promptly and effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
