We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and junior chefs, fostering a collaborative team environment
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards
Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and timely delivery of meals
Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to ensure adequate supplies are available
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Assist in menu planning and development to innovate culinary offerings
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
