We are looking for an exceptional Chef to join our team of 6 Chefs in our busy kitchen.
An opportunity has arisen for a talented chef to join our award winning Rosette Restaurante Team.
The successful candidate will work with the Executive Head Chef across all sections using where possible ingredients from Sussex. Standards of presentation need to be exceptional, we welcome creativity.
You will also have input to the design, preparation and service of our restaurant Starters, Small Plates , mains, desserts, afternoon teas and event dishes whilst also assisting the rest of the team of chefs wherever required on a busy restaurant and events service.
You will need to have proven experience within a Rosette Restaurant or similar quality environment and have relevant qualifications in your field.
Standards of cleanliness, actively working and enforcing EHO standards of food hygiene is essential, as is working as part of an amazing team back of house and front of house. We have an incredibly cohesive culture within our kitchen and in the business as a whole so team work, people management, listening and being proactive as well as reactive are essential skills to maintain our amazing workplace environment
The Venue
We are a food based business, leading with our Terra Restaurant serving a seasonal menu, local where possible but truly authentic menu, along with private dining for up to 90, including business conferences, weddings, family celebrations and 12 bedrooms.

. We pride ourselves on the quality of our Afternoon Teas, meat and fish and our standards of food presentation are excellent.
You can have creative input into our menu planning process and we would love to see a dish that represents you on the menu.
All our menus are prepared in house from ingredients so you should be confident with your prep and cooking skills.
You will be a qualified Chef with proven experience of running a busy section in a commercial kitchen.
You will be working with a team of Chef's. sharing ideas and offering training and development to progress their skills
A typical shift is 10hrs long and will see you working 4 on, 2 off, 3 on 2 off shift patterns.
