Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
Supervise food preparation and production to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Help manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet presentation standards.
Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.
Skills
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
