This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team, at our fire cooking orientated cafe. No experience of fire cooking necessary as training will be provided on the job, but a demonstration of advanced cookery skills and the ability to lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef is essential.

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Assisting in menu planning and development
- Managing kitchen staff and coordinating food orders
- Supervising food production to ensure timely service
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to create new dishes and specials
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Proficiency in supervising kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting
