is managed by Tower Hotel Management Limited. The six-storey property incorporates a ground-floor restaurant, meeting facilities and Proud to Serve Starbucks. We are located on the ever-growing Keele University Campus.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
Previous experience of a similar role is preferred, but not essential
Customer Service experience, preferably in a Brand Hotel, but not essential
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
Have high energy and a fearless can-do attitude
Desire to learn and develop
A good working knowledge of Opera PMS & EPOS systems is desirable
Have a good knowledge on health & safety, hygiene, equal opportunities, HACCP and any other legislation
WHAT YOUR DAY MAY LOOK LIKE
Providing direction to the Kitchen brigade including Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters
Assisting the Head Chef in providing mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance
Educate and train team members in compliance with brand standards, service behaviours and company standards. Ensure staff have the necessary tools and equipment to carry out their duties
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to enquiries and problem resolution
Monitor and ensuring that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are always of the highest quality.
Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene.
Able to prepare a range of menu items
Adhering to health & safety policies and regulations.
