We are looking for a experienced Sous Chef to help grow our food experience , you must love what you do and want to create a lasting impression on our customers that will make them want to return again and again. You must be confident, self-motivated, organised and be ready to stand in for the Head Chef on days off or holidays etc. You must have a genuine passion for using fresh ingredients and locally produced foods with an overall aim to produce great tasting, memorable food.

Microwave chefs need not apply!

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while ensuring high-quality food standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production processes efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with team members to enhance service and hospitality in the dining experience. Train and mentor new kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence.

Qualifications



Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene Leadership abilities to supervise kitchen staff and manage food production Background in hospitality and restaurant settings Team management experience to foster a collaborative work atmosphere Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
