We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a good experience in a kitchen and be committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, while fostering a happy and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and presentation of consistently outstanding meals.
Assist in the prep work to ensure all meals are sent out in a timely manner.
Be aware and adhere to different allergen requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist the Head Chef in food production, preparation and stock control.
Work successfully and liaise with the front of house team.
Requirements
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
Strong understanding of food preparation methods.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills, fostering a positive atmosphere among staff.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when required.
