We are recruiting for an Experienced Sous Chef for Bistro del Mare.

As our Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef and leading the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine.
You'll be passionate about preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the highest standards, while also helping to train and develop junior chefs and maintain a well-run, clean, and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Leading the team in the Head Chef's absence
Maintaining food quality and consistency during service
Assisting with menu preparation and specials
Helping to manage stock, deliveries, and kitchen hygiene
Ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations

Skills and Qualities Required:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong experience as a Senior Chef de Partie
Good leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of Italian cuisine
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Strong attention to detail
High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
