We are seeking a talented and passionate Soux Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience and a strong background in fresh food preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals using local & fresh ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a positive and efficient working environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature Handle customer feedback professionally, making adjustments as needed to enhance satisfaction

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong background in food production and preparation techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff Culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of fostering teamwork and collaboration Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food service
