We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality. Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Support in menu planning, development, and innovation to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including storage and equipment maintenance. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a positive team environment.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service excellence. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
