This position offers a true work-life balance and the chance to work in a beautiful location. This is a full time role Monday to Friday with only very occasional Saturdays (11-6pm from April to September) and no late evening shifts.

dion St Paul's -
a bustling bar and restaurant overlooking the iconic St Paul's Cathedral.
You'll be the second most senior member of the kitchen, working closely with our Head Chef. You'll play a key role in daily operations ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation and have a real impact on the menu and team.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and managing the culinary team.
Oversee and assist with food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard before serving.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Great team player with a positive attitude
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for food preparation.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
