Duties
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and culinary standards.
Prepare and cook high-quality meals, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste.
Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
