We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our prestigious team at the Haymarket Hotel. As a Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes and seamless kitchen operations. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your culinary skills and lead a dedicated team in a dynamic and creative environment.

Responsibilities:

Guide and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency, adhering to our exceptional standards. Oversee kitchen operations, managing inventory, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and exceptional guest experience. Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the kitchen, staying updated with culinary trends and techniques.

What you Need:

Proven experience in a similar role within a high-standard kitchen environment. A deep passion for food and a strong commitment to culinary excellence. Ability to lead and develop a team, inspiring them to achieve their best. Exceptional attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team and other departments. A cooperative approach to working within a team, contributing to a positive work environment.
