We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service. Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards, storage procedures, and allergen controls. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory control to minimise waste and optimise resources. Support training programmes for new staff members and ongoing development for existing team members. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, culinary techniques, and restaurant operations. Demonstrable expertise in food safety standards and best practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills essential for maintaining excellence in all dishes served. Previous experience serving or working in a busy restaurant environment is highly desirable. This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional eager to develop their leadership capabilities while delivering outstanding culinary experiences within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Pay: 28,156.40-35,000.00 per year
