We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation and production meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes. Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

Experience

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually learn and improve within the restaurant industry.
