Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Scarborough Hill Country Inn. In this role, you will play a vital part in food preparation and production, ensuring that our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining our high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and food preparation.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership abilities to manage kitchen staff effectively.
