We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in the daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes. Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations. Help manage kitchen schedules and staff assignments to optimise workflow. Provide support during service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for food production and presentation. Experience in supervising or managing a team is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential.
