Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulations. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help create a positive team environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements



Proven experience in food production and preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Passion for culinary excellence and creativity in menu design. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 24,420.00-35,000.00 per year
