We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff Supervise and train kitchen personnel in food preparation and cooking techniques Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff Solid culinary experience with a passion for hospitality Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
