Job Overview

Wollaton Park Golf Club in Nottingham, are looking to recruit a Sous or Junior Chef to supplement their team on a part-time permanent, based at Golf Club on Lime Tree Avenue in Wollaton.

Hours: 25 - 40 hours per week including weekend hours, with some flexibility needed during busier times and for events etc.

Hourly rate TBC (Depending on experience.)

What duties will I be doing in the Head Chef role?

Kitchen Management - Assist our Head Chef oversee all kitchen operations, including cooking, stock control, ordering, supplier liaison, financial analysis.
Be part of a positive, motivated and engaged small team.
Food Safety - ensuring we maintain full compliance and to maintain 5- star food hygiene rating and collaborate with the leadership team
Menu development - engage with our Head Chef and help the continuous improvement and uphold our high standards and passion for amazing fresh food.
Preparation - support on all the menu & produce high quality fresh food daily when on duty as Chef for the day
Ensure health and safety and employment policies are adhered to
Cleaning down all equipment used when on duty as Chef for the day
Product development - support the Club with product development ideas for the functions and events held at the club.

What will you bring to the role?

At least 2 years previous experience as a Chef working in a restaurant/ kitchen
Passion for fresh food
Ability to work well as part of a team
