Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous chef to assist in the leading of our team, we are in the process of expanding our company into our 3rd site & we're looking for an experienced & passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen brigade at The Ruddington Arms.

Blue Fox pub company is a 100% fresh food business, as a Sous chef you will be heavily involved with creating seasonally changing menus & specials. If you have creative flair, are a calm & influential leader & most importantly, a passion for great food! we want to hear from you!

This role would be perfect for a current Sous Chef or experienced Chef De Partie looking to join an expanding company with real opportunities for both personal & career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head & Executive Chef to plan and create high-quality dishes for our seasonal menu changes.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
- Manage your kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to guidelines.
- Train and mentor kitchen team members on culinary techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Be the heart of our kitchen team, teach, mentor & coach junior team members

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fresh food operation.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00-34,500.00 per year
