We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a farm to fork ethos local restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be dedicated to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and set up stations for menu service
- Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean and organised
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the Estate Head Chef
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen equipment
- Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous
45 hour working week over 7 days
(Normal week is a 4 day working week with 3 days off)
Qualifications
- Food safety certification
- Proven experience in cooking and meal preparation
- Strong kitchen experience in a professional culinary environment
- Restaurant experience preferred to a high level
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Pay: Up to 36,000.00 per year
