Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, supervising staff to ensure smooth service delivery Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock control Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Support in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes Supervise food production during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines Assist in serving guests when required, providing excellent customer service

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards service excellence Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
