Job Description

We are a new team with a rapidly developing for providing high quality food and fine dining. We strive to ensure our guests are provided with outstanding service and it is incumbent on the whole team to achieve this. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience. You will need to drive and have your own transport.

Chef Job Purpose and responsibilities

To assist Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Head Chef with preparation of hot and cold food, creating menus

Running sections of the kitchen during service

Ensuring a consistently high level of food service at all times through knowledge of menu items and awareness of commodities used, preparation, methods and cooking

Assisting as necessary with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service

Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

Assisting in the design of breakfast and lunch menus

The following key criteria and skills are required for this role:

Experience of working in a similar role within a high-quality establishment and ability to produce quality food to the highest standard

Ability to run and maintain food service

Current certificate in Basic Food Preparation, Health and Hygiene or similar

Excellent communication skills

Driven with a passion for food and quality produce

Creative with a meticulous eye for detail

Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and maintain a consistently high standard of food delivery under pressure

Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)

Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
