We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training new team members and overseeing daily operations
Oversee food production, ensuring all meals are prepared to specified standards and within designated timeframes
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to minimise waste and control costs
Lead by example in cooking, food presentation, and maintaining a positive team environment
Support the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Solid understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
