Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant. In this role, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation while contributing to a positive team environment. This role is daytime hours only which offers the perfect work life balance.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative menu items. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred. Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
