We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and managing staff. Supervise and train kitchen personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage kitchen stock effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Provide exceptional service during meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of dishes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes. Previous experience in managing kitchen operations is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service through quality food preparation.
