Duties
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all meals served.
Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Demonstrated ability in food preparation and cooking techniques across various cuisines.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
A solid understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.
