Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Italian Restaurant . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with the ability to create exceptional dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing food production, and maintaining an organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food safety guidelines are followed. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and best practices. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with other team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required. Maintain high standards of culinary presentation and taste in all dishes served.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts. Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
