We're now looking for a
talented and passionate Sous Chef & Senior Sous Chef
to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef who wants to grow within a respected Edinburgh restaurant known for quality, tradition, and innovation.
About the Role
Working
Wednesday to Sunday
, with
evening service
and a
full day on Saturday
(4-5 day week rota), you'll play a key role in maintaining our high culinary standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and ensure full compliance with food safety standards
Support and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and communication
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Uphold exceptional hygiene and sanitation practices across all food preparation areas
Contribute to consistent food quality, presentation, and innovation on the menu
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a
Sous Chef and or Senior Sous Chef
or in a similar role within a quality restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of
culinary techniques
and
food safety practices
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support colleagues
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards under pressure
A genuine
passion for Italian cuisine
and for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
