Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality control. Handle any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, demonstrating effective team management abilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
