Role & Responsibilities:
As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and consistently deliver high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for:
Leading and motivating a team of kitchen staff.
Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet the restaurant's standards.
Ensuring food safety and cleanliness regulations are strictly adhered to.
Assisting in menu development and maintaining stock levels.
Managing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Training and developing junior kitchen staff.
Ensuring efficiency and timely service during peak hours.
Contributing to maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
A strong understanding of kitchen operations and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Creativity and a willingness to innovate.
A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
A relevant culinary qualification is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 37,000.00 per year
