Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef with meal preparation and planning
Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards
Ensure dietary requirements and allergens are managed correctly
Supervise kitchen staff and support training where necessary
Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste reduction
Adhere to all food safety, health, and care regulations
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to manage kitchen staff and work under pressure
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
