Regginas restaurant is looking for a skilled, passionate chef to join our team. With a basic salary of 30,000 working 45 hours/week across 5 days - this is in addition to a share of the tronc. We are committed to serving fine-dining food using only the freshest ingredients.
Duties
Supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring that all culinary tasks are executed to the highest standards.
Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Run the pass and ensure dishes are prepared to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.
Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a culinary environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Knowledge of Italian Cuisine and an array of cooking techniques and procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
