Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and staff supervision. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served. Handle any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team. Previous experience in culinary roles, demonstrating creativity and passion for cooking. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
