We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation.
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to specifications and presented attractively.
Manage food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to maintain optimal supplies.
Train new team members in food preparation techniques and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines and styles.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
